Why we made it

Finding a good tailor in New York usually means scrolling through map pins and guessing. We gathered the shops into one place, so you can compare them and pick one close to home or work.

What you'll find

There are 149 shops listed, covering hem and repair work, made-to-measure suits, and places that do both. Every listing has the address, a phone number you can tap, the rating, and opening hours where we have them.

Finding your shop

Search by name, browse a neighborhood, or choose "near me" to see the closest shops first. Then call the shop yourself. We don't handle bookings or payments, and no shop pays for a listing.

Owners: keep your listing right

If you run one of these shops, you know your details best. Let us know when your hours, phone number or address change and we'll update the page.

Fix a detail or take a listing down

Send a note to contact@tailoringnyc.com saying which shop and what needs changing. Most updates go live within a few days. If you'd prefer your shop weren't listed, tell us and we'll remove it.
