Terms of use

Using the directory

Tailoring NYC is a free directory of tailors and alterations shops in Manhattan and Brooklyn. By using the site you agree to these terms.

Accuracy of listings

We work to keep listings correct, but details such as hours, prices and phone numbers can change without notice. Please call a shop to confirm before you visit. We can't guarantee that any listing is complete or up to date.

Independent listings

We're not affiliated with the shops listed, and a listing isn't an endorsement. Ratings come from public sources. Any work or payment is an agreement between you and the shop.

Acceptable use

Don't use automated tools to copy the directory in bulk, or use the site in a way that disrupts it.

Content

The site's design and original text are ours. Business details belong to the businesses they describe.

Limitation of liability

The site is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses from relying on it.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do. Questions: contact@tailoringnyc.com.
